About Weedmax – Herbicides

• WeedMax  is a broad spectrum and selective herbicide of phenoxy carboxylic group.

• 2,4 -D Main is a post emergence herbicide effective on annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds in a wide range of crops viz, Sorghum, Maize, Wheat, Potato, Sugarcane etc.

• Technical Content: 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL

• Mode of Entry: Systemic in action

• Mode of Action: It is a synthetic plant growth hormone auxin which works by causing uncontrolled cell division. Abnormal increases in cell wall plasticity, biosynthesis of proteins, and production of ethylene occur in plant tissues which leads to uncontrolled cell division. These uncontrolled, unsustainable growth ensues, causing stem curl-over, leaf withering, and eventual death of weeds.
