Features of the Product
- AGRITARA functions as a broad-spectrum insecticide.
- Classified as a systemic insecticide, AGRITARA combines contact and stomach action.
- It falls within the neonicotinoids class of insecticides.
- AGRITARA is a novel solution designed to combat various sucking insect pests across multiple crops.
- Particularly effective against sucking pests that have developed resistance to conventional insecticides.
- Exhibits notable translaminar action.
- Its translaminar and systemic properties facilitate absorption and translocation throughout the entire plant, effectively controlling hidden insects.
- Offers both quick and long-lasting control.
- Boasts excellent rain fastness properties.
- Rapid uptake into plants with acropetal movement through the xylem.
- Virtually compatible with other insecticides.
- Leaves no residue, ensuring target specificity and environmental acceptance.
- Relatively safe for beneficial insects.
- Suitable for Integrated Pest Management strategies.
- Acts as a preventive measure against the spread of diseases, such as leaf curl in cotton, by controlling insect vectors.
Method of Operation
- AGRITARA is classified within the neonicotinoid insecticide group, targeting the central nervous system of insects.
- Upon contact or ingestion of AGRITARA, insects immediately cease feeding.
- Affected sucking insects are deterred from re-penetrating plant tissues.
- AGRITARA disrupts the postsynaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system.
- Irreversible blockage of postsynaptic (nAChRs) induces hyperexcitation of the nerves.
- Hyperexcitation leads to convulsions and eventual paralysis in insects.
- The cumulative effect results in the death of the insects.
How and When to Apply
- AGRITARA is suitable for both foliar spray and soil drench applications.
- For foliar spray:
- Initiate the first spray upon the initial appearance of pests.
- Repeat 2-3 sprays at intervals of 10-15 days, adjusting frequency based on the level of pest intensity.
- For soil drench:
- Apply around the root zone before the onset of pest presence, conducting a single soil drench during the crop season.
- To mitigate resistance issues in the long term, it is recommended to alternate AGRITARA with other groups of insecticides.
Safety Guidelines and Remedy
- Avoid spraying during foggy weather conditions.
- Wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
- Select the correct nozzle for the spray application.
- Spray in the direction of the wind to optimize effectiveness.
- Refrain from smoking, drinking, eating, or chewing during the spraying process.
- Prevent contact with the mouth, eyes, and skin.
- Steer clear of inhaling the spray mist, fog, and vapors.
- Thoroughly bathe after completing the application.
- In the absence of a specific antidote, treat any symptoms that may arise symptomatical
